The founder, Aulide (Lourdes) Edouard’s life passion has always been to serve humanity.  Upon her retirement as a Registered Nurse from the Miami-Dade Public School, and against the advice of family and friends, she returned to Haiti, her beloved country, to care  for a couple of the less fortunate children. Today, she houses eight (8) children in her modest home she and her husband built more than 20 years ago.

Aulide is grateful to the Lord for blessing her with the strength to do His will.

Our Mission

The FNKD Orphanage offers help to children with little hope of having a better life. It strives to provide them with hope and tools to regain life and live it to the fullest. Our goal is a child-centered and solution- oriented program.

FNKD Orphanage aim to create an authentic and consistent environment where children can be inspired and can thrive to reach their God-given potential.

Our Values

FNKD Orphanage accepts all children at an early age, in need of a place they can call home. The children may have deceased/absent parents, or parents who cannot provide for them due to some major reasons. FNKD Orphanage serves the children with a spirit of excellence and compassion which will certainly contribute to their success.
